Train Whistle (1 unit)

This fabulous train whistle sounds about as close to the real thing as you can imagine!  Perfect for any "Thomas" addicts out there and ideal for "train stations" imaginary play.  

HOW TO INSPIRE YOUR CHILD USING A TRAIN WHISTLE

• Make a train:  Take 2 or 3 cardboard boxes, laundry baskets, or the like, and line them up on the floor.  Have your child get in one, then some stuffed friends or other toys can get in the others.  Blow the whistle when it is time for the train to leave the station.  Remember to call out "All Aboard!"
• Be a train:  Stand in front with your child behind you.  Have your child hold onto the back pockets of your trousers or perhaps your belt.  Start the train by slowing the train whistle then with your arms pumping at your sides, chug your way around the room or house.  As you go faster, be sure to have your arms chug faster.  When you reach your destination, blow your train whistle again and give a big steam "shuuuuuuush!" before stopping.  Take turns being the train's engineer!
