Sea Sound Drum (1 unit)

This lovely wavedrum measures 25cm in diameter and comes with its own beater and see-through carry bag.  What creates the "wave" in our wavedrum are the thousands of tiny beads which fill the drum and can be rolled and shaken around the inner drum as you play.   The drum is suitable for younger children but be sure to not give the beater to any child under 18 months as it can be a choking hazard.

HOW TO INSPIRE YOUR CHILD USING A WAVEDRUM

• Explore the two very different sounds that the drum makes:  loud bangs and gentle pitter-patters. Place the drum on the floor and have your child beat the drum using the beater or using their hand for children under 18 months. Next have your child use their finger tips on the drum to make gentle pitter-patter sounds. 
• Sing along!  Use the sounds explored above to sing a fun song:  I Hear Thunder.  
  • (Child banging loudly) I hear thunder, I hear thunder, hark don't you, hark don't you
  • (Child pitter-pattering gently) Pitter patter raindrops, pitter patter raindrops
  • (Child banging loudly again) I'm wet through!  So are you!
