Playballs: Blue, green, purple

HOW TO INSPIRE YOUR CHILD USING PLAYBALLS

• For babies:  what better way to encourage your small baby to reach or begin to crawl or propel forward than to supply a fun reward.  Place your baby on his or her tummy, then place the playballs about 30cm from baby's face.  The bright colours will encourage movement forward and possibly even his or her first  attempt to crawl!
• Rolling downward:  Create a slight ramp in your playroom using a large book or even a cushion from the sofa.  Get your child's attention and then hold the ball at the top of the ramp, counting "One ... Two ... Three!"  then release the ball so that it rolls down the ramp.  This is an excellent way to develop eye-tracking skills in your baby and it is also great fun to chase each ball as it rolls across the room!
